Corsets, Bows and Butt Kicking

In my Aikido class, the women are given special uniforms.

The men just get a thick white long sleeved gi and blue heavy Hakama with a thin rope to tie around their waist to better support the Hakama straps.
The women however, from ages 6 and up get a totally different outfit.
We get a lighter weight black long sleeve gi, heavy black Hakama, and a thick white sash to tie ourselves up in.
The major difference between the mens and womens uniform is that the women are allowed to customize out uniforms however we want.
We can add accessories as long as they don't dangle and extra clothes as long as they don't constrict our movement.

Most of the little girls get their mothers to sew patches on their sleeves or the bottoms of their Hakama, the older ones do needle work or put rhinestones all over the place.
The older women however simply sewed in their rank in gold lettering or added on extra layers like a few inches of extra fabric to the cuffs of the sleeves (one woman is all decked out in lace, it's so cute!).

I have no other skills except garment making so I simply spent 6 hours sitting at my sewing machine and constructing a simple lace up corset that would keep me together but not constrict me.
Needless to day it was a success!
So this is the outfit I now train/sleep/lodge around in almost all hours of the day. It's so goddamn comfortable! I even went to school in this thing once because I didn't wanna wear jeans

EDIT:
The tabi socks and gloves were add ons too, even though I usually take the gloves off during training so that I can grip people better.
